Poshy Paws is located at Salisbury North situated North of Adelaide South Australia.  We specialise in the Pampering and Grooming your special dog and cat in air-conditioned comfort all year round.

Christine has been grooming dogs for well over 20 years and has chosen this profession for the love of pets.  Your favourite companions coming in to the salon do get the very best treatment and are handled with lots of patience and are at no risk of being hurt at any cost.

It is our policy to place your pet's feelings first and will only groom humanely and safely. Lots of treats do make grooming a pleasant experience for your dog and us.  We DO NOT de-matt or sedate pets.

Every dog has a fresh bath filled for his invigorating hydro bath, and we NEVER recycle used water in a production line type situation.  Thorough rinsing is also extremely important to help prevent skin conditions we use a specialty range of products available for different coat and skin types including medicated and hypoallergenic for sensitive skin types. Following cleansing we then blow dry each dog with large professional dryers, which get down to the skin ensuring a complete dry dog.

Individual styling requirements are catered for with details recorded on a client information card for future reference.  All nails are shortened, ears are checked and cleaned, gentle cleansing is done around the eyes.

Bookings usually commence at 9:00 am and 12.30 pm. Times of the task are generally at 3 hourly intervals. A dog may be very well behaved and only take one and a half hours to two hours, but we always prefer to go at the dog's pace of tolerance, therefore we prefer to allow 3 hours per booking.

Appointments are essential especially during busy holiday periods. Please try to toilet your dog before their grooming appointment so they are comfortable. Please bring your dogs to the salon on a secure collar and lead and bring cats in cages.
